POKER FOR LIFE is a subsidiary of the 501(c)3 non-profit religious organization, The Lord Is Here, Inc.
Like our parent organization's mission "to share the love of God to our community", POKER FOR LIFE''s goal is to provide tangible and creative ways to achieve this goal.
Poker For Life provides events which foster community and friendship. In addition to this, PFL works to raise awareness and empower volunteers to support local organizations which work diligently to provide care and support for needy citizens of our community.
The aim of POKER FOR LIFE is to give our time, energy and support to helping non-profit organizations who often struggle to meet even the most basic financial needs. Out of this goal we created THE POKER FOR LIFE INITIATIVE.
Organizations that receive grants from the POKER FOR LIFE INITIATIVE provide a diverse array of vital services in our community. Such services include: education, clothing, shelter, household items, counseling, spiritual guidance and more.
It is also our hope that our attempts to partner with these wonderful organizations will encourage participation and creativity in others to also come up with imaginative ways to support needy organizations.
